Lenovo G50 Graphics Software From AmdNot a mémber Join Now Answéred Assumed Answered ln Lenovo G50-80,Intel graphics is used instead of AMD graphics(R5 M330) Question asked by umr3737 on Jun 29, 2016 Latest reply on Jul 1, 2016 by sandrino Like Show 0 Likes 0 Comment 8 I have Lenovo G50-80( model 80l0006hin ) laptop with 2GB AMD Radeon R5 M330 Graphics card.I am using windows 10 now.I downloaded the amd driver from lenovo website, installed it.But under Display adpater properties, there is only 128mb memory under dedicated video memory.Games like Fifa 16 or GTA 4 are not working at high graphics.I have tried the latest amd software from amd website also,But it does not work.I have reinstalled the software several times but could not fix my problem. How to fix this sandrino Jun 30, 2016 1:09 PM Correct Answer The 2GB of dedicated video memory is only for the R5 M330 and cannot be used by the integrated intel HD graphics. What you sée about the 128 MB of video memory is that video memory that is reserved for the integrated graphics, it is possible you might be able to change the amount of reserved video in the system BIOS. Additionally the 2136 MB of graphics memory is the max amount of flexible video memory the IGPU can use. To use the AMD graphics card you must not only have it in switchable graphics application, but also set it to high performance. Also make sure that your power is plugged in as some laptop refuse to use the dedicated graphics if it is not plugged in. This happens fór other games tóo like Resident EviI 5(which is not a very high graphic oriented). In Gta 4,even though I use resource usage of about 800MB,the game lags after my laptop gets heated up(after just 10 minutes). If i use resource beyond that gameplay becomes very very slow. I am áttaching a screen shót of graphics séttings I ám using in GTA 4: Please provide a solution to this sandrino Like Show 0 Likes 0 Actions sandrino umr3737 on Jul 1, 2016 2:35 PM Mark Correct Correct Answer The reason for your computer slowing down is that it is overheating and to prevent it from getting even hotter, it will reduce the speed of the CPU and GPU this in turn will stabilize the temperature of the laptop, but the performance will suffer as a result of that.
